About this event
Fort Scott Farmers Market is a farmer-organized and farmer-managed market operating seasonally from May through October. The market features locally grown produce, pasture-raised meats, cottage baked goods, homemade crafts, and handmade goods. Vendors typically offer fresh farm produce, farm-centered crafts, local honey, jams and jellies. The market maintains consistent Saturday morning and Tuesday evening hours throughout the season, held under the Gathering Square Pavilion at Skubitz Plaza near the historic Fort Scott National Historic Site. The market operates continuously over 100 years after the original site, serving the Fort Scott community and surrounding region with fresh, locally sourced products.
