About this event

Every October, the coastal town of Half Moon Bay transforms into a vibrant celebration of creativity and autumn harvest with this beloved annual festival. The Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival draws thousands of visitors to Main Street, creating an energetic atmosphere that perfectly captures the spirit of fall on the California coast. Over two days, October 17-18, 2026, the festival brings together hundreds of artisan vendors and makers who showcase everything from fine art and handcrafted jewelry to ceramics, woodwork, photography, and seasonal décor. What makes this festival distinct is its dual focus on art and the iconic pumpkins that have made Half Moon Bay famous. You'll find vendors selling original paintings, sculptures, and prints alongside those offering carved pumpkins, gourd arrangements, and fall-themed crafts. Local and regional artisans set up booths throughout the festival, making it an ideal venue for anyone selling handmade goods, art supplies, vintage finds, or seasonal products. The October timing means attendees are actively shopping for autumn decorations, Halloween items, and holiday gifts, creating strong demand for both decorative and functional crafts. The festival atmosphere attracts a diverse crowd including art enthusiasts, families seeking fall activities, tourists visiting the Half Moon Bay area, and locals who return year after year. This mix means vendors connect with both serious collectors and casual browsers, all looking to support independent makers and take home unique pieces. Whether you specialize in fine art, functional crafts, jewelry, textiles, or seasonal goods, this festival offers strong foot traffic and an audience genuinely interested in artisan work. The beachside location and established reputation make the Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival a well-attended event that draws customers ready to shop and celebrate the season.
