About this event
The Albemarle Downtown Farmers Market, formerly known as Stanly County Farmers Market, is a producer-focused market operating seasonally in downtown Albemarle. The market features local farmers and artisans selling fresh seasonal produce, meats, baked goods, and handcrafted items including plants, flowers, and specialty goods. The market runs Saturdays 8 AM to noon from May through October, with additional Wednesday hours from June through August. A special opening day with plant sales, craft fair activities, and children's programs occurs in mid-April. The market serves as a community gathering point for residents of Stanly County and surrounding areas. Vendors pay an annual fee plus daily booth rental fees to participate.
