About this event
Every Saturday morning from May through October, the Blue Springs Farmers Market brings the community together at 11th Street and Main Street in Blue Springs, Missouri. This weekly farmers market is the kind of place where you'll find the season's freshest produce, baked goods still warm from local ovens, and vendors who know their products inside and out because they grew or made them themselves. The early 7:00 AM start time means serious shoppers arrive early, and vendors who set up by then can capture the morning crowd when foot traffic is strongest and selection is fullest. The mix of vendors at the Blue Springs Farmers Market reflects what thrives in this part of Lafayette County. You'll encounter farmers selling vegetables at their peak ripeness, alongside bakers offering everything from artisan breads to pastries, and producers of eggs, dairy products, and preserved goods. Flower vendors bring seasonal blooms, while herb growers cater to both home cooks and gardeners. This variety keeps regulars coming back week after week, knowing they'll find both staples and new items to discover. The atmosphere tends to be relaxed and community-focused, with shoppers who value knowing where their food comes from and supporting local growers. Weather plays a natural role in the market's rhythm. The May opening kicks off as spring transitions into summer, while October closings catch the tail end of fall harvest season. That seasonal window means your inventory can evolve throughout the season, and shoppers expect to see different offerings as months progress. Whether you're a producer of fresh goods, a baker, a florist, or someone creating value-added products from local ingredients, this weekly market provides a consistent venue to build a customer base in Blue Springs and surrounding areas.
