About this event
Every Saturday morning from May through November, the Bronxville Farmers Market brings together local growers, bakers, and food producers at Stone Place and Paxton Avenue in this Westchester County community. This weekly farmers market operates from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, giving vendors and shoppers a consistent window to connect throughout the growing season. The market draws a mix of local residents, families, and serious home cooks looking to source fresh ingredients directly from producers who know their products inside and out. The vendor mix at the Bronxville Farmers Market reflects what makes farmers markets distinct from other food retail experiences. Rather than a one-size-fits-all grocery store approach, you'll find producers specializing in specific categories: farm-fresh vegetables and herbs harvested at peak ripeness, bakers offering fresh bread and pastries made that week, local beekeepers with honey, farmers raising eggs from well-cared-for hens, and seafood vendors bringing in catches. Many vendors grow or produce organically, appealing to shoppers prioritizing chemical-free foods. The seasonal rhythm means what's available shifts throughout the market's May to November run, reflecting what's actually in season rather than what's shipped from across the country. The Bronxville Farmers Market also stands out for its accessibility and payment flexibility. The market accepts multiple payment methods including credit cards, making transactions seamless for modern shoppers. For families and seniors who benefit from nutrition assistance programs, the market welcomes SNAP/EBT, WIC, WIC Cash, and Senior FMNP benefits. This approach ensures that fresh, local food isn't limited to shoppers with particular payment methods. Whether you're a vendor looking to build a loyal customer base in an engaged community or a shopper wanting to know exactly where your food comes from, this weekly market provides a straightforward, reliable gathering spot in Bronxville.
