About this event
This weekly farmers market runs Saturday mornings from June through early October at Indian Village Heights in Fountain, bringing together local growers and food producers for the community. The Rancho Farm & Art market creates a vibrant gathering space during the peak growing season, when Colorado's agricultural output is at its richest. You'll find a mix of vendors selling seasonal vegetables, fresh herbs, baked goods, local cheese, eggs, and other farm-direct products that reflect what's coming out of the surrounding El Paso County area during summer and fall months. The market draws both serious home cooks looking for quality ingredients and casual shoppers seeking the farmer's market experience on their weekend routine. Because this is a farmers market rather than a general craft fair, the focus stays on food and agricultural products, though there's room for value-added items and complementary offerings. The Saturday morning timing means you're catching people doing their weekly shopping and meal planning, often looking for produce they can't easily find at conventional grocery stores. The June-to-October window captures everything from early summer greens and berries through fall squashes and root vegetables, so the vendor mix shifts with the seasons. The market accepts credit cards, which removes friction for both vendors and shoppers. If you work with food products, local produce, baked goods, dairy, herbs, or related agricultural items, this weekly event offers consistent foot traffic and a customer base that actively seeks out farmers market shopping. The consistent Saturday schedule means loyal repeat customers who build relationships with vendors over the season, making it a good venue for building a regular customer base rather than a one-off event.
