About this event
Every Sunday from June through November, the Glen Rock Farmers Market transforms Harding Plaza in downtown Glen Rock into a vibrant community gathering space where local producers and artisans bring their seasonal offerings. Running from 10am to 2pm, this weekly farmers market draws neighbors and visitors looking for fresh produce, handcrafted goods, and quality baked items directly from the people who make them. The market's seasonal rhythm follows what's growing in the region, so early summer brings berries and greens, mid-season offers peak vegetables and stone fruits, and fall transitions to root crops, apples, and winter squashes. Local farmers use this as their primary sales channel, so you'll find varieties bred for flavor rather than shipping durability. Beyond produce, artisan vendors typically feature items like handmade soaps, pottery, jewelry, preserves, and crafted goods that reflect the creative community of Bergen County. Bakers bring fresh bread, pastries, and seasonal treats made throughout the week. The downtown Glen Rock location at Harding Plaza positions the market as a true community hub rather than a standalone shopping trip. The family-friendly atmosphere means weekends naturally blend market shopping with social time, and live music adds to the energy without overwhelming conversation. Regulars tend to arrive early for the best selection, especially when specific farmers or bakers are involved, so vendors benefit from consistent foot traffic throughout the morning. If you sell produce, baked goods, or artisan items with a local or handmade story, the Glen Rock Farmers Market offers direct access to engaged shoppers who value quality and know their vendors. The Sunday morning timing and six-month season make it a solid anchor market for many regional producers building their customer base in Bergen County.
