About this event
Held every Saturday morning from June through October in the heart of Havre de Grace, this weekly farmers market brings together local growers, bakers, and artisans at 200 N Washington Street. The market operates from 9 AM to 12 PM, offering a reliable weekend destination for residents and visitors looking to stock up on seasonal produce and specialty items while soaking in the charm of this Chesapeake Bay town. The Havre de Grace Farmers Market draws a steady stream of shoppers who value direct relationships with the people growing and making their food. You'll typically find vendors offering fresh seasonal produce, baked goods straight from local ovens, and handmade crafts that reflect the area's character. The waterfront location near downtown adds to the appeal, making it easy for customers to combine their market visit with a stroll through town or a meal at one of the nearby restaurants. Summer and early fall are peak seasons when the variety of produce is at its fullest, though spring vegetables and autumn harvests keep the market dynamic throughout its operating window. For vendors, this market represents a consistent opportunity to build a customer base in a community that prioritizes local sourcing. The Saturday morning time slot captures both the weekly shopping trip crowd and people out for weekend leisure. The Chesapeake Bay region's agricultural heritage means there's genuine local interest in what farms and makers have to offer. Whether you specialize in vegetables, preserves, baked goods, or handcrafted items, the Havre de Grace Farmers Market provides access to shoppers who make regular visits and actively seek out local producers throughout the growing season.
