About this event
Saturday mornings on Bradford Common in Haverhill bring together local growers and food producers who've spent the week harvesting, baking, and preparing what they'll share at the Haverhill Farmers Market. Running from June through October, this weekly market offers a genuine snapshot of what's growing across the Merrimack Valley during peak season. You'll find farmers with produce that was picked that morning or the day before, bakers with bread and pastries made fresh, honey producers, and prepared food vendors who work with local ingredients whenever possible. The market draws a steady crowd of home cooks looking for quality vegetables and fruits, people seeking out local honey and specialty items, and families who've made Saturday morning at the Bradford Common part of their weekend routine. What makes a farmers market different from other vendor events is the direct connection to the source. You're buying from the people who grew or made what you're purchasing, which means you can ask questions about varieties, growing practices, or ingredients. The seasonal rhythm matters too. In June, you might find early berries and leafy greens. By August, tomatoes and stone fruits take over. October brings root vegetables and squash as summer fades. Vendors and regular shoppers both appreciate this rhythm because it keeps the market from feeling static. The Haverhill Farmers Market is rooted in community, founded by Team Haverhill as a way to support local agriculture and give the area's producers a reliable place to sell. That mission shows up in who shops there: people who care about where their food comes from, local business owners sourcing ingredients, and neighbors who've been coming back each week for years. Whether you're a vendor looking to build a customer base or someone exploring what local farms produce, the market's location at Church Street on Bradford Common makes it accessible and established in the community's fabric.
