The Easton Farmers' Market is America's oldest continuously operating open-air market, established in 1752. Operating Saturdays from May through December at Scott Park on the riverfront, the market attracts dozens of local and regional vendors selling fresh locally grown produce, artisan cheeses, baked goods, prepared foods, meats, eggs, honey, and handcrafted wares. A separate winter market runs January through April on Northampton Street in front of the Easton Public Market with reduced hours and vendor count. The market draws hundreds of shoppers weekly and features live music, chef demonstrations, and seasonal festivals throughout the year. Organized by the Greater Easton Development Partnership, it serves as a vital community gathering place and economic driver in downtown Easton.
