About this event
The Ellsworth Farmers Market is a longtime Saturday morning market featuring locally-grown and locally-crafted products. Vendors offer fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, dairy, baked goods, prepared foods, fiber arts, pottery, and more. The market is open every Saturday from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM from May through Thanksgiving, operated by the nonprofit Ellsworth Farmers Market. Founded in 1978, it is one of the oldest farmers markets in Maine. The new location at the Union River Center for Innovation on the waterfront provides ample parking and space for vendors. The market accepts SNAP/EBT benefits and offers Maine Harvest Bucks bonuses for eligible customers. New vendors are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the season.
