About this event

Located at 161 South Main Street in Broadway, Virginia, this weekly farmers market brings together local growers and producers throughout the growing season. Operating from May through November, the market offers vendors two regular shopping windows: Wednesday evenings from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday mornings from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The dual schedule makes it convenient for both weekday shoppers stopping by after work and weekend visitors looking to stock up on fresh items. The market features a diverse mix of vendors selling seasonal produce, baked goods, dairy products like cheese, fresh eggs, herbs, and flowers. This variety makes it appealing to home cooks, bakers, and gardeners looking for quality local ingredients and plants. Beyond food, craft vendors also set up, adding another dimension to the shopping experience. The accepting of both credit cards and SNAP/EBT benefits ensures accessibility for a wide range of customers in the Rockingham County community. For vendors, the Broadway Farmers Market presents a stable selling opportunity with consistent foot traffic across both weekday and weekend slots. The location on South Main Street puts the market in a central, walkable part of Broadway, which helps draw regular shoppers. Whether you specialize in produce, value-added products like jams or baked goods, fresh dairy, cut flowers, or complementary crafts, this market welcomes a range of product categories. The weekly schedule running through early November gives vendors a long season to build customer relationships and establish themselves with repeat buyers in the area.
