About this event
With Rabbi Wes Gardenswartz Rabbi Gardenswartz asks us: What text is omnipresent and underappreciated? Answer: The Haftarot. They are part of every Shabbat and holiday service, but they never seem to get the attention they deserve. Each Tuesday morning we will study the Haftarah that will be chanted on the following Shabbat. We will ask: Why did this Haftarah get selected? What is its connection to the Torah reading or to the calendar? What does it mean in its own context? What is the message of the Haftarah to us now? We look forward to thoughtful, meaningful discussions as we explore this new topic Join in on Zoom .
