Bridge Day is West Virginia's largest single-day festival held annually on the third Saturday of October on the New River Gorge Bridge. The event features over 160 vendors and craft booths alongside extreme sports demonstrations including BASE jumping, rappelling, and high-line activities. Attendees walk across the historic bridge, watch skilled athletes perform their sport, and shop from a diverse mix of merchandise vendors. The festival attracts thousands of spectators and vendors from across the region and nation. The bridge closes to traffic from 7am to 5pm, with pedestrian access from 9am to 3pm. Vendors can secure booth space (25 feet wide by 10 feet deep) on a first-come, first-served basis.
