About this event
With Rabbi Michelle Robinson While many of the challenges we face today are new, living with uncertainty is not. For centuries, our Jewish tradition has wrestled with the deepest questions of what it means to be human, leaving us with a remarkable toolbox of wisdom for navigating our own lives. This year we will explore some of the Talmud’s most compelling conversations about questions we all eventually face: How do we disagree without fracturing relationships? What can we do when our lives suddenly veer in a direction we did not plan? How do we nurture love? How do we discern the path and purpose of our days? Together, we will look at these questions through the lens of the Talmud, discovering what the rabbis noticed about being human and how those insights might illuminate our own lives. Join us each Thursday morning as we wrestle with ancient texts, timeless questions, and the ongoing work of crafting a life worth living. Our class takes place on Zoom – whether you’re in Newton, New York, Nevada, or anywhere else around the world, come learn with us! Register and join us on Zoom HERE→ View the 2026-27 calendar HERE→
