About this event
The War Eagle Fair is an established craft festival held annually in October since 1954 along War Eagle Creek near Hindsville, Arkansas. The event features over 250 handmade booth displays including pottery, quilts, jewelry, woodwork, leather goods, home decor, and art from artisans across the Ozarks region and beyond. Vendors must display items of their own creation passing a jury process, ensuring high-quality handcrafted goods with no imports or resale products. The fair attracts 100,000 to 200,000 visitors annually seeking unique handmade gifts and seasonal items. Peak foliage season in October creates a scenic backdrop as temperatures typically range from 45 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Admission is free with nominal parking fees. Food vendors and on-site dining are available. The event typically runs Thursday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
